Let us go then, you and I…

I am a PhD candidate at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Curriculum & Instruction, with specializations in Literacy & Language and Writing Studies. I’m primarily interested in how teachers integrate (and negotiate) digital and non-digital platforms in planning for writing instruction.

I used to teach high school English in Plymouth, Massachusetts, and still blog about curriculum, teaching, and technology.

Sometimes, I tweet about technology, learning, teaching, design, and critical literacy (and books).

EdCafes, a way to empower student voice in the classroom, are a passionate interest of mine.
